COMMUNAL (UNITY) CUP

The UNITY cup symbolizes the first and most important principle of Kwanzaa,  unity.  

It is used to pour Tambiko (liberation) to the direction of the four winds, NORTH, SOUTH, EAST and WEST, in remembrance of our ancestors.

The cup honor the ancestors and is used to promote the spirit of oneness within the family as well as the collective.
